Birmingham (West Midlands) ISKCON, United Kingdom

Temples & Communities

ISKCON Birmingham was first established around 1989 and has been actively promoting the ideals of Krishna consciousness through vibrant Sunday feast programs, book distribution, and Harinam sankirtan. The house has been converted to a temple structure with a beautiful altar in a large temple room, and includes a kitchen, prasadam room, office, one guest room, and ashram space. ISKCON Birmingham Temple is the Home of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and Sri Sri Jagannatha, Baladeva and Srimati Subhadra Devi. We invite you to come to the temple for darshan of the beautiful deities and join in with the programs. The major festivals which take place in Birmingham are 24-hour kirtan, Gaura Purinma, Ratha Yatra and Janmasthami. We have many active congregation members, which are gradually increasing, especially through the weekly self-discovery or Bhakti Vriksha programs in various areas of Birmingham.
