The community at Gita-nagari is committed to the principles of "simple living and high thinking". This rural community focuses on sustainable agriculture, organic farming and cow protection.
The farming operations and daily deity care is acheived by hard work and kind donations by residents and visitors.
There are a number of permanant residents on the farm itself, and a dozen families who live nearby. There are guest facilities and local hotels available.
