The Montreal temple community is active both around the temple and in outreach. There is a thriving theater company and temple flower garden, as well as regular harinama--congregational chanting of the Holy Names of God in public--in the streets of Montreal.
The temple hosts an annual Ratha Yatra Parade, "Festival of the Chariots", culminating in a local park.
